By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into legally binding agreements. You also agree that you are not prohibited from using our Services by applicable laws or these Terms of Use.

5. Scope of Services

Novoic offers Storyteller, a digital tool designed to facilitate brain health awareness and connections between users and organisations specialising in brain research. It collects demographic information, location, contact information, and samples from short speech tasks. This information may then be passed onto one or more partner sites, where the staff will make a decision on whether to contact you to discuss your results and any further evaluation. Our Services, including Storyteller, are solely for informational and health awareness purposes and must not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice or diagnosis. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice and diagnosis.

Please note that using our Services, including Storyteller does not guarantee that you will be contacted.. This is subject to various factors and is at the discretion of our partner organisations. Novoic is not responsible for the final decision regarding our partner organisations contacting you or any step following this contact.

You agree to provide, to the best of your knowledge, truthful and accurate information when using Novoic's Services, including but not limited to demographic information, location, contact information, and responses on the speech-based tasks for Storyteller. You also agree to comply with all applicable laws regarding the use of our Services. You are solely responsible for any content you upload, display, or transmit using our Services ("User Content"). You must not impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

8.2 Prohibited transmissions

You agree not to share any false, misleading, or unauthorized information, and not to use the Services in a way that could harm the website, harass others, or violate third-party rights, such as copyrights, trademarks, privacy, or publicity rights. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Novoic, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses, including but not limited to those related to your use of Storyteller, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from or relating to your use of our Services.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. If you are using our Services from the European Union, the United States (including California), or any other country worldwide, you agree that any disputes arising from or relating to the use of our Services or these Terms of Use shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom, unless otherwise required by applicable local law.
